You were ready on time. The dog was not. He had feedback on the walk, the route and that one bush, and he needed to share it with every hydrant on the block. This is the official excuse of dog people everywhere, signed with a paw print so nobody can argue. For the friend who's always five minutes late and always a little bit furry.
